Victoria Inn Brewhouse is a traditional 18 th century pub located in the village of Roch,Pembrokeshire, near the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The pub offers delectable cuisinealong with an award-winning on-site brewery for its real ale.
The team at Victoria Inn reached out with a clear objective, and that was to rejuvenate and modernise its website. The existing site, which was slightly outdated, lacked the crucial e-commerce capabilities that the new website aimed to prioritise and enhance.
The scope of high-quality professional images to transform the look and feel of a website was really evident in this project – not just in showcasing the products and food but in conveying the character, style and ambiance of the physical space.
The site went live in July 2023 and integrated the e-commerce functionality requested, in addition to a downloadable menu, integrated enquiry form, blog, and links to social media accounts, allowing Victoria Inn’s customers to keep up to date with relevant information going forward. A Google Map integration was also installed in order to ensure customers can find the inn.
The e-commerce function granted Victoria Inn the ability to meet the high demand of online orders for its beers, table reservations, takeaway food orders and accommodation bookings, with the latter requiring specialist third-party integration.
With its revitalised e-commerce platform, the Victoria Inn now possesses the capability to monitor sales across diverse revenue streams, reinforcing the necessity for an upgraded website.
As with any e-commerce site, the primary function was to facilitate sales. Ensuring seamless functionality and an enhanced, simplified user experience of all the e-commerce components was of vital importance for driving sales.
