We had fun with this one, delivering a fresh, fun and easy to use website that caters to both children and people who fund the organisation. We used a vibrant, attention-grabbing colour scheme to appeal to kids and convey the happy vibe that POINT is all about. The design incorporated multiple areas that target the audience in different ways, featuring current projects, updates and how they’re helping the community. As child safety is a prime concern for POINT, we also created a dedicated ‘out of hours’ section with a hide me tab.
As is sometimes the case, the domain name was with another developer who was a little tricky to track down. Although it took a more than a few phone calls and some diplomatic wrangling to transfer it over to us, we’re an intrepid bunch so we got it sorted. We love sharing a bit of knowledge here at Web Adept, so we had fun delivering a group training session with 10 lovely POINT employees.
