Adref Construction is a specialised construction firm working on high-end construction and building projects in South Wales. Established in 2020, it is managed by two young directors, Luke Jones and Aled Harries, who adopt a fully collaborative approach to each project and work alongside clients throughout, aiming to create a seamless, enjoyable process from conception to completion.
We were contacted to develop and launch Adref Construction’s first website. Up to this point, the company had relied on sending project images to clients via WhatsApp, email, or directing them to an Instagram page. The aim of the site was to develop a professional hub of information about the company and to showcase its projects.
Adref Construction also requested a CMS that would allow them to upload new projects as its portfolio develops further, as well as a personalised enquiry form so potential clients can submit information quickly and easily.
The scope of high-quality professional images to transform the look and feel of a website was really evident in this project.
The Adref Construction website was launched in March 2023 with a simple yet professional design that reflects its brand colours, and is layered with impactful project images shot by Behind the Lens Media, helping Adref Construction stand out from its competitors.
A branded JotForm was also integrated into the site which streamlined the process of its fact-finding stage, providing a place for the prospective clients to submit information about their project. The integration of the form allows Adref Construction to focus on day-to-day projects with an easily accessible place to manage new enquiries.
Adref Construction also have the ability to upload new projects so that the site stays up to date with the latest additions to their portfolio.
One obstacle that we faced with this project was the gathering of project images to embed into the website. The poor weather conditions meant that photoshoots were delayed. But, thankfully, with the help of Tim Hughes of Behind the Lens Media, we were able to receive high quality project images that complement the sleek design, creating an eye-catching first impression when users access the site.
