Some Bottle specialises in supplying glass and plastic bottles, jars and containers to a variety of industries. Part of Zailo Limited, it is a family run company headed by husband and wife, Farshid and Jenny Yakta. Based in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, Some Bottle pride themselves on great prices and fast delivery, and aim to be accessible to smaller companies, reducing the need for them to buy larger shipments.
Some Bottle’s objective is to expand into a wholesale market for cosmetics packaging, and aimed to do this by creating an E-commerce site to enhance the user experience and build trust in order to encourage repeat orders.
There were also several other necessary functions such as a “featured products” section, blog and newsletter options to keep audiences updated and share the latest offers, automated invoices and order tracking integration.
The scope of high-quality professional images to transform the look and feel of a website was really evident in this project.
The resulting site gave Some Bottle a professional web presence with striking visual use of the company’s brand throughout the website design. To facilitate the aim of increasing repeat wholesale customers, the site needed to have a product section, and members area.
Some Bottle were also keen to develop a channel to keep their audience up to date with latest news and offers, and requested a newsletter and blog area on the site in order to do so.
The site was also integrated with multiple payment gateways: Paypal and Stripe. An automated invoicing feature was requested to cater to online wholesale customers, as well as order tracking set up via Royal Mail’s drag and drop feature.
One of the other ways to encourage repeat orders was the integration of the wholesale discount option within the e-commerce store, which displayed a discount option under each product showing the discount based on order volumes.
Additionally, the Some Bottle team were given online CMS training by the WebAdept team, so that content could be easily changed and updated when necessary. The team were also able to create customised discount codes, again reinforcing the original objective of generating repeat customers.
Some Bottle had a large number of products which could be bought in bulk meaning the time taken to content fill the site would be huge. To overcome some of the challenge we could upload a CSV file with all of the information for each product, dramatically reducing the time taken to complete the project.
